The Nagarathar Sangam Australia was established in 2001, by Sydney Nagarathar members who felt there was a strong need by the Australian Nagarathars to establish a regular program of learning, assistance, cultural, religious and recreational activities. The objective of the Sangam is to encourage, promote and preserve the valuable Chettinad culture within the Nagarathar community in Australia. Nagarathar Sangam Australia encourages all the Nagarathars living in Australia to become members of Nagarathar Sangam Australia.
