Blood Donation Campaign - Saturday 10th July 2010        

First time ever, Nagarathar Sangam Australia (NSA) is organising "NSA Blood Donation Campaign 2010" through Australian Redcross Blood Service, Rosehill. Blood is needed NOW for Life saving treatments. Please come and join us to donate blood and be a proud donor.

Venue: Parramatta Donor Centre, 22 Oak Street, Rosehill – 2142.
Date : 10th July 2010 (Saturday, School Holidays)
Time : 11am at the donor centre entrance for 11:15am appointment.

Lunch will be organised for all NSA Donars through volunteers and/ or donar families.

NSA Camp 2010 held between 16th and 18th April was a great demonstration of how Nagarathars stand united and have fun together in Australia!

It turned out to be a just a routine event of our Sangam but had all the qualities of a traditional Festival
- Delicious, mouth-watering food
- Fun-filled games
- Mind-blowing competitions
- Brian-storming Nagarathar discussions
- Activities for all ages
- Participation from Sydney, Newcastle, Canberra, Melbourne, New Zealand and India
- Highest attendance rate in the history of NSA

It was a true reflection of how and what we all can deliver by working jointly. At the end of the camp, everyone went home with complete satisfaction, unlimited happiness, enhanced friendship, refreshed minds, value for money, appreciation for all the efforts, etc. And this was exactly our objective for the Camp! A mission accomplished 100 percent!!

Please bear in mind, it was just not the Executive Committee that worked for this. There were a good number of great friends who joined hands with each other and took very important responsibilities on their broad shoulders and executed them very effectively. All of us should thank from the bottom our hearts to all those who have worked towards this success!

Sydney Western Tigers Tennis Tournament - 2010         Click here for photos

Sydney Western Tigers Tennis Tournament was organised and played by young Nagarathar's based in Sydney. Ten players participated in the tournament held in Winston Hills during March-April 2010. Winners of the 2010 tournament are: Srinivasan and Nagalingam. Runners up are Muthukaruppan and Valliappan. Trophy was distributed to winners and runners by Sockalingam. The tournament was organised by Subramanian Shanmugam and ChinnaNachiappan Ramanathan. Umpiring responsibility were taken by members while they are not participating in the tournament.

Every year for past few years Nagarathar Sangam Australia (NSA) members have been actively participating in Clean Up Australia Day event. Due to consistent success and support the same venue is selected for NSA Clean Up Australia Day this year as well. This activity will involve gardening and basic cleaning in and around the temple premises.

Nagarathar Sangam Australia proudly joined hands with thousands of Australians on the Clean Up Australia event on 7th March 2010. The Shiva Temple at Minto was the chosen site where in 15 members of NSA families actively took part in cleaning and beautifying the temple premises. At the end of the day, everyone felt very satisfied of their contribution to the community.
