Our memeber Palaniappan Ramanathan(Sevvur) married S. Abirami(Okkur) on 4th December 2008.
Our memeber Karuppanchetty Ganesan (Devakottai) married Visalakshi Subramanian of Palavankudi on 22nd May 2008.
Our member Mr. Alagppan Muthu has retired from Tamil Bala Malar school, Holsworthy as a teacher after nine years of voluntary service. He also been a part of management team in several capacities including Central Bala Malar's President. NSA is proud of his achievements.
Mr.Muthukappan & Mr. Krishnan have won the Sydney Western Tigers Trophy for Tennis, in a tournament held at Winston Hill tennis court in May 2009. Mr.Valliappan & Mr. Muthiah were the runners up in this tournament, participated by twelve of our members.

Dr. Palaniappan Narayanan did receive the "Young Gynecologist Award" of the Asia Oceana Federation of Obstetricians and Gynecologists for the year 2007 in Japan. This was awarded to few people of Reputation over the Asia pacific region in the field of gynecology based on their academic acumen and professional achievements.
Dr. Palaniappan is Associate Professor and practicing Obstetrician and Gynecologist at Sri. Ramachandra Medical College, Hospital, Chennai.
Dr. Palaniappan was an active member of Nagarathar Sangam Australia during 2004-2005 and did participate in various volunteer activities and get together's conducted by the Sangam during that year. He still is a well wisher and great fan of our Sangam activities.
