“Sangamam - Auckland, 21st to 23rd April - 2017”

NSA and Nagarathar Sangam of New Zealand organized the Sangamam at Auckland, New Zealand. It an informative and fun filled event. 100 people attended the event.

Special thanks to – Dr.Ramamsamy Kannadasan (S/o Kaviarasu Kannadasan) for accepting to be the chief guest for the event. We had a chance to interact and hear the behind the scene stories of Tamil film industry, ‘Paadal pirantha kathai’ and interesting facts about Kannadasan. Your speech has inspired lot of our kids to consider ‘Iyal (Literature), ‘Isai’ (Music), and ‘Nadagam’ (Drama) as their career choice when they grow up.

Colourful location, beautiful weather, well decorated hall & stage, mouth-watering food, thoughtful karutharangam, debate on the current social issues, speeches, networking and team building games, participants exhibiting their talents at the talent night, stay at central location, above all friendly NZ and Australia Nagarathars made this event a memorable one. I believe that we all will cherish these memories for a long time.

It turned out to be a just a routine event of our Sangam but had all the qualities of a traditional Festival

- Delicious, mouth-watering food
- Fun-filled games
- Mind-blowing competitions
- Brian-storming Nagarathar discussions
- Activities for all ages
- Participation from Sydney, Newcastle, Canberra, Melbourne, New Zealand and India
- Highest attendance rate in the history of NSA

It was a true reflection of how and what we all can deliver by working jointly. At the end of the camp, everyone went home with complete satisfaction, unlimited happiness, enhanced friendship, refreshed minds, value for money, appreciation for all the efforts, etc. And this was exactly our objective for the Camp! A mission accomplished 100 percent!!

Please bear in mind, it was just not the Executive Committee that worked for this. There were a good number of great friends who joined hands with each other and took very important responsibilities on their broad shoulders and executed them very effectively. All of us should thank from the bottom our hearts to all those who have worked towards this success!
